In which our hero prepares a little Mac 'n (cow) dairy free Cheese!

Howdy folks!  So this is the first recepie I'm listing on here and it's a bit of an experiment, so if you like them being here, let me know!

Looks awesome huh?  Wanna see how it was done? Check it out after the jump!

Now, this recipe was sent to my by the lovely Ms September, it's actually designed to be entirely dairy free, but I was having difficulty getting one of the ingredients, specifically, nutritional yeast.  So I used a little goat's cheese.  It's not quite so healthy, but it still contains no Cow dairy, which is what I want.  I also added meat to the recipie to make Mac 'N cheeseburger!  My favourite comfort food.  In case you're wondering, yeah it's not *technically* macaroni either,  I just prefer a different pasta shape.

Ingredients:

1 cup cashew nuts
300-400g roasted peppers (sweet)
About 4oz soft Goat's Cheese
500g mince (maybe a little less, but this is what's in this one)
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 onions (small)
Garlic power (to your own taste)
Sea Salt (about a tbls)
1 1/2 cup water
16 oz GF pasta

The instructions are really simple for this recipie, cook off the mince and onion together,  and drain it off.  Start some GF pasta cooking at the same time.

Add the Cashew, Peppers, Cheese, lemon juice and sea salt to a blender, start blending slowly.  Add the garlic powder as it's mixing, you don't want it *too* fine.

Drain the mince and onion, add to the blender a bit at a time, you want the mixture to stay lumpy.

Drain the pasta and place in a fresh pan, no oil needed.  Add the now blended mixture, simmer under the pasta is cooked to your liking.

Presto!  You have a fabulous meal!   Now, this recipie isn't *that* healthy, but it *is* Gluten and Dairy free, and makes great comfort food, the ingredients listed here should make 4-5 servings.  One to make right after weigh in day when you wanna treat yourself after a hard month's DDPYoga! BANG!
